My Next Phonics Book (Stage 2+) - due to be dispatched mid-June

This book is part of our Stage 2 range, designed to support the skills and learning objectives typically introduced in Reception in UK primary schools. We have added '+' as these sounds as typically taught at the end of Reception and are consolidated in Year 1.

At Hare & Tortoise Learning, we follow a “stage not age” approach because every child learns differently and develops at their own pace. Some children may be ready earlier, while others benefit from taking a little more time.

Children will explore digraphs (two letters making one sound) and trigraphs (three letters making one sound) taught in Phase 3 from the Letters and Sounds programme. They will learn to recognise and apply their learning through engaging activities.
